We reach a time when our children are grown,
That we start to wonder of what's to come.
So dream a dream of what might be;
Perhaps a grandchild on your knee.

So if you'll hug this tiny bear
Very close to your heart.
Your little bear will fill with love,
To share one day with a gift from above.

When that child comes to your home
And wraps their arms round this wee bear;
They'll want to sit upon your knee,
So they can learn why, "Jesus loves ME!

Each time you hold them close to you
Let them hear the prayers you say.
Then they'll know right from the start
They need God's love in their heart.

And that is why I've given you
This precious bear to share.
For Jesus works through many things,
To teach a child His praises to sing!

This little bear it has a name.
I hope you'll like it too.
It's hidden in this little verse.
I wonder who will find it first?

And if you need a clue
Why don't you think on this.
When you feel you've reached an end,
"Hope" will be your friend.

Psalm 31:24

Be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen your heart;
all ye that hope in the Lord.

Hope: to desire with expectation of fulfillment.

I had a friend who was having that "Empty Nest Syndrome".
So I wrote this poem for her.
